Agree to disagree then. In any case what name it takes, is just second in importance to the usability it provides. And I'm all for that, no matter what it will be called.
Fair enough.
And yes, I agree that the quality of the app itself is more important than the app’s name.
Coming from the firedumpster reddit has become, and seeing such a normal and polite interaction between 2 users just brings tears to my eyes...
I’m also new to Lemmy (I signed up during the two-day Reddit blackout), but I’m already getting the sense that Lemmy is a classier place than Reddit :)
I just hope that Lemmy will continue to grow, but without picking up the toxicity found in Reddit (and other social media platforms).
