Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I get depressed by the general bad news that are standard now and the toxic people who get a much louder voice and platform than they should and the shock how stupid people can be.
That's a moderation problem, the joy of social media is that you can follow who you like so no toxic people should be on there.
Here in the fediverse I feel safe, but if I go on twitter, reddit or even once a year on Facebook I regret it every time. I mean even the comments on some articles are cancer and those are moderated because without it would be even worse
Sorry, I don't mean moderation by mods, I mean moderation by you, the things you choose to follow will change your experience, you can even block specific pages that bring in those comments.
It takes some time to cultivate your experience and learn the voices you want there but once you've done it you'll find the whole thing more positive.
Well then I am in my safe bubble and don't know what's happening outside. We are already too convinced that our view is the only possible. This will complicate social interaction in the real world.
