I really don’t think they have the pace to hold on to Max even for a couple of laps

Yep, being within a couple of seconds after the first handful of laps would be a surprise. It's a shame, but that's the way it is. I was surprised to see Leclerc behind Sainz yesterday. I think Sainz is undervalued and Leclerc overvalued, but I don't think I can support Sainz being a better driver. More consistent, perhaps, but I think Leclerc will have to be the one to mount a challenge to Verstappen from Ferrari. One day, if he can keep his spirits from being crushed.
