"walled garden" is a term used for sites like this

I'm well aware of what a walled garden is, thank you. I don't need correcting.

I prefer the term I used. Someone here came up with it first so I ran with it. Clearly, judging by the handful of likes on my comment, people can indeed work out my meaning.

Just because it's not the generally accepted term doesn't mean it's the only one.
