Among us are represented the various reasons to keep data -- legal requirements, competitive requirements, uncertainty of permanence of cloud services, distaste for transmitting your data externally (e.g. government or corporate espionage), cultural and familial archivists, internet collapse preppers, and people who do it themselves so they're sure it's done right. Everyone has their reasons for curating the data they have decided to keep (either forever or For A Damn Long Time (tm) ). Along the way we have sought out like-minded individuals to exchange strategies, war stories, and cautionary tales of failures.

Hey guys,

I've foundthis limited offer for 16tb-HDD, the ratings aren't as bad as I have expected.
Its possible to pay with PayPal, one month exchange without a conditions, two years warranty but one or another negative TrustPilot-rating related to warranty-exchange.

Any experiences or anything else to note what a layman like me doesn't see?
Should I give it a try? With PayPal I should be relatively safe to check the drive with CrystalDisk and get my money back if something is wrong?

It's fine. It was even better when it was 149.40 but got increased after it was posted on various sites.
