It's "good" for Dallas because that trade would be god awful if he left for nothing. The fit and the loss of depth are still aspects left uncertain.

100%. Mavs would've been the laughingstock of the league for letting another guy go for nothing with Brunson

They may be uncertain, they are certainly leaning heavily toward “not good”

It is leaning that way, but I'm willing to give some benefit of the doubt to the small sample size.

This contract and trade could definitely go down as one that really hurts Luka and the Mavs if it does not improve into this season and beyond.
