Generally not a fan of the sprint weekend format, but this one was pretty enjoyable (probably mainly due to the weather)
Making Saturday a self-contained event makes it more enjoyable imo.
I like that the sprint doesn't affect the race, but I hate that the slow buildup of the race weekend is disrupted. I just can't get into quali on a Friday.
I love it. I never really cared about p1-3. Iβd check the standings but thatβs it. Iβve watched three sessions so far this weekend.
Agreed, doesn't have implications on Sunday and teams seem to let their drivers actually race.
Wet weather always makes F1 more entertaining!
Definitely one of the best sprint races since the format started.
There really is nothing like a race in the wet.
