I was looking at getting some roguelikes / lites (already have ToME, CoQ), unfortunately Cataclysm DDA is not on sale.

Krone Hotel at 90% off looks like a decent choice too. Then there’s Jupiter Hell, which I recently stumbled upon and looks great too.

I’d also like to get some of the FF games, though I’ve played VI, VII, IX and a bit of XII, it would be nice to revisit some of the older ones I haven’t played almost since the PSX era.

I figured out a while back that it's just not healthy for me (I stress 'me' because it's my experience) to collect games to play later just because they're on sale. I have a few hundred games just on Steam bought all the way back to sales in the 2000's. I've spent hours scrolling through them and realising they don't interest me and probably never will. Sales will usually come again so I'll just get a game when I actually want to play it.

I'm deciding between the Witcher 3, RE2 or Disco Elysium.

That does sound like a healthier attitude for some people, me included. 10 years ago I bought several games because of the much-hyped summer sale and I've never played 80% of them. So I just try to ignore sales and buy when I'm ready to play.
