Adolf Hitler was a Christian specifically Roman Catholic; he and the Vatican (half of the First Reich) wished to combine all denominations back into one this was going to be called German Catholic (midwest.social)

I had to go back and see context to remember what this was in response to. Then I snorted pretty hard.
