Funnily enough, EU and NATO don't have problems with that as well.
They do. For geopolitical reasons there's that not much done about that, but the US did for example shoot down a Turkish drone recently. .
It's also important to distinguish here. The West considers the PKK to be a terrorist organization as well. It's the YPG where opinions with Turkey differ.
They do but they don't do anything? Like they care a lot just not doing anything about?
They shot that armed drone because it came near their base, not because they care who else it was going to shoot at.
That's the official story they tell so Turkey can save face, yes.
IOW US is protecting Kurds by shooting down a single Turkish drone?
Kurds, which are often abandoned by US (Iraq, Syria at least, in later case giving free hands to .... Turkey)?
I really don't think there is a positive internet towards Kurds there.
As I said, they're not doing much. But it's fairly clear that the US would rather have Turkey leave the Kurds alone. It's just not ready to take more than symbolic measures.
Man, US left their allied Kurds to Turkey's slaughter recently.
That was recently, but under a different administration. It's unlikely that Biden would have done that.
