Did you even read it? They don't say anything of it is unnecessary or bad. Just, that it's not there yet.

And iPhones only really became what we think of today with better mobile network and the advent of 3rd party apps.

64bit explicitly mentions the lack of 64bit SOFTWARE. Meaning no software could make use of your 64bit cpu.

FHD was said to only be the first step and that it would promptly be replaced by UHD. Which it did.

None of this means anything on the list is bad, just not as great as sold, aka overhyped.
