I used to run into updates breaking dependencies, like Gimp not working after an update and such but since switching most my programs to be Flatpaks I had very few issues.

You must state what system you run when you make inflammatory comments like this.

I haven't had a single issue with this package since I installed GIMP some 6 years ago. I have no reason to install the bloated flatpak version. No reason at all.
