I think today was the day he blew it with Red Bull.

And Danny Ric's performance just makes it even worse for him. At this point I would be amazed if Checo is in a Red Bull (F1 car) next year

RB dont need someone to win races, they just need someone who can qualify well, not make stupid mistakes and finish 2nd-3rd behind Max

Yep. I think thatโ€™s right on point. And if Danny podiums today, I think heโ€™s in the second RB seat next year.

Even if he doesn't get on the podium he'll still be finishing 71 laps ahead of Perez. That counts, too.
