That's quite a suppressor.

Compare to an M4 carbine, the current US issue rifle (not a suppressor on an M4, but the whole weapon):

6.43 lb (2.92 kg) empty[4]

7.75 lb (3.52 kg) with 30 rounds and sling

Holy crap that's a good point. My current AR setup is 8.2lbs fully done up. That's a huge can.
