Hey so my partner has Liftoff to browse Lemmy, and I noticed his search engine allows search for comments, posts, communities etc where as Jerboa just lets me search communities.

It was a sole factor of me deciding to also put Liftoff on my phone cuz it felt like an important function to be missing, but am I just not seeing it?

I'm gonna sound a bit like an a-hole but... just move to Liftoff.

Open source, and more (necessary) features.

Do not uninstall Jerboa, it has potential, so keep an eye on it, specially as it is native Android. But as of now, it just hurts the experience and Liftoff will give you what you need for now.

I have Liftoff and Thunder installed alongside Jerboa. Development off all these is so fast and with every release there ist something new to explore. And since every app has something special, I will follow them for a while.
