I can't believe they needed to add more sugar lol
Its probably from the "Gelling sugar"
Jellys are usually made with that stuff.
Its basically a mix of Sugar, pectin and lemon acid.
More sugar is obviously not needed here,
but they probably only have the premixed stuff.
My first thought as well. Should have called it Diabetes Jelly.
It was more a "how" question for me. How does one add sugar to sugar?
