Beer is such a diverse beverage though. Some stouts and porters are very sweet with a strong chocolate or caramel flavour and barely any bitterness at all. Then there's IPAs where the bitterness is the star of the show. IMO there's no such thing as "beer flavour" as there are infinite varieties of hops, malt and yeast, and combinations thereof.

Dude I love beer in all its forms, and while sweetness is a component in many beers, it's not a sweet drink no matter how you spin it. If you are a person who likes Moscato or exclusively fruity cocktails, beer is going to taste like dirt for you.

Try a milkshake sour. Some beer has completely different flavor profiles than any other.

Sorry, I agree with the person above. I have a sweet tooth and I don't like beer. At all. Even when someone says, "this is a sweet porter with a strong caramel flavor," it is too bitter for me to enjoy. I have willingly tried beer many times due to people like yourself insisting that they know a beer I'll like. Nope. On the other hand, a sweet wine like a port, sign me up.
