I'm experienced at the base game of skyrim and getting used to the dlcs, are there any reccomended mods for someone at my level?

There's a bug fixes collection on Nexus. Recommend that for sure. One thing that has always spiced things up for me is graphics mods. Grab something like Skyland, Clevercharff's AIO, JK's Skyrim. Changing textures and overhauling the cities and towns is a nice visual change.
