Originally I've download the signal app through playstore, but often it also get updates from Droid-ify(Fdroid client). Today its weird and I got this . Explain to me this.

On the Droid-ify the signal app is provided by: org.thoughtcrimes.securesms

The package name is not a secure identifier. It's just a way for Android to keep track of which apps it has installed. It only has to be unique on your phone or the Play Store. Anyone can set any package name and distribute it outside the Play Store, as long as it doesn't clash with an already installed app it will let you. Luckily Play Protect saved you in this case.
