Documenting hate-speech, conspiracy theories, apologia/revisionism, and general tankie behaviour across the fediverse
What is a Tankie?
Alternatively, a detailed blog post about Tankies.
(caution of bias)
Basic Rules:
Sh.itjust.works Instance rules apply! If you are from other instances, please be mindful of the rules. — Basically, don't be a dick.
Hate-Speech — You should be familiar with this one already; practically all instances have the same rules on hate speech.
Apologia — (Using the Modern terminology for Apologia) No Defending, Denying, Justifying, Bolstering, or Differentiating authoritarian acts or endeavours, whether be a Pro-CCP viewpoint, Stalinism or any variation of Tankie Ideology.
Revisionism — No downplaying or denying atrocities past and present. Calling Tankies shills, foreign/federal agents, or bots also falls under this rule. Extremists exist. They are real. Do not call them shills or fake users.
Tankies can explain their views but may be criticised or attacked for them. Any slight infraction on the rules above will immediately earn a warning and possibly a ban.
If you're violating instance rules, you'll typically be warned. Continuing poor behaviour after being warned will result in a ban or removal of your comments. Bans typically only last seven days, but repeat infractions will have longer sentences. You may ask to be unbanned.

Last year a woman was beaten to death because she didn't have her hijab.
Not only last year, not only one. Last week a 16-year old girl (Armita Geravand) was injured in the head because of not having compulsory hijab and is close to death...
Do they have equal access?
From my mostly limited knowledge: yes on education, though it is segregated by gender. There aren't specifically bans on women from working or participating in politics as far as I know, but there is that whole layer of repressive legal frameworks, like the hijab law.
Which, I would say thanks to the access to education, is subject to change even under a hyperconservative religious government. But I really am not that knowledgeable on Iranian politics or current events there. I know that the protests have been dragging on, but haven't really resulted in any structural change as far as I know.
Point is, if comparing to Afghanistan, like the original context appears to have been: relatively well off.
Relatively well off? Women are being brutalised on the regular, you legitimately think that's relatively well off?
So it's still supporting the Taliban and religious extremists. What's your point of any of this?
You deny that they were sarcastic, you try to excuse their behaviour and comments. What's your goal here?
