Right now, I’m playing the early access version of Baldurs Gate 3. I’m getting ready to put it down (frustrated: BG3 has the potential to be good, but without controller support, I’m getting really frustrated with the UI. ) and switch to Yakuza Like a Dragon.

What are you playing now and what are you looking forward to playing next?

All indies all the time. I have been thoroughly sick of "AAA" games (and the industry itself) since the switch to 3D. Spelunky HD / 2, the new TMNT, Streets of Rage 4, Neuro Voider, Stardew Valley, and on and on. Also old console games because it's always morally okay to emulate games on old consoles. Related, it's always morally okay to pirate Nintendo's games.

I just backed up my Gamecube Zelda games on to my Deck! I opened up Wind Waker and am now stuck as a swabby because platforming with 2002 controls is a lot harder than I remembered. 😂

I have installed the CEMU Wii U emulator on real Arch and run Wind Waker with it. Maybe look into that if you want the Wii U controls? I haven't tried it on the Deck, but given it runs on vanilla Arch, it's theoretically possible :D

(yes, I know, it's 3D, I didn't say I played it much, just that it works :P )

May be worth running the remastered version. I recently toughed it out and played the original with mods. After beating it I tried the remaster and there were a lot of really great QoL improvements with native widescreen support.
