As a cliffhanger in the overall story of the galaxy, it's going to be excellent.
As a cliffhanger to Ahsoka it's going to be a huge let down.
I like the world building that is happening, I like the pieces that are moving around, but as an individual part this season is just filler. Maybe it makes sense because, with the plan being a movie, you need to be able to summarize a whole season in 1-2 sentences, but it feels like a waste.
Don't get me wrong, I like what I'm watching. However if someone asked "Should I watch Ahsoka?" I'd have to say, "Maybe, it requires a lot of context and I'm not sure where it's heading."
Compare that to Mando, it took 1 episode to make it clear where we're going. Compare to Andor, it took 3 episodes (which Disney released all at once), but it was clear where we're going. Even the Kenobi series made it clear after 1 episode what was going to happen.
