Followed by a five-minute summary, then ten minutes of rabid content, then again a five-minute summary, ad neuseam.

I can only conclude that the only thing that makes American documentaries remotely watchable are the 20 minute ad breaks, I wouldn't know, I don't watch private TV and if there's ads on public TV then it's two minutes of ginseng tea before the news.
