I really like it here. However, almost 90% of my feed is either posts about Reddit, or Lemmy/kbin meta analysis. We need actual content and communities over here! (kbin.social)

Think of it as kindling for a fire. It's not going to fuel the platform long term but it's probably appealing to a lot of folks right now. Hopefully it will spur engagement which will then spread to other more interesting and sustainable topics.

Great analogy. It ain't much but it's all we've got right now.

Communities take time to form. Right now we are pretty much one big community of reddit migrants. As we gain numbers and spend more time together, the content will emerge.
