Title! Sync has been my daily driver for over a decade now, and i've gotten far more than my money worth out of Pro & Dev. With the news of Sync for Lemmy, I've joined the Sync Lifetime club (long overdue tbh)

If you've gotten similar mileage & want to thank LJ for everything he's done (and has committed to keep doing), lets make sure to thank him both publically and financially :)

Isn't it going to be a separate app for Lemmy?

Yes. I think the point he is making is to help support the effort financially and show the developer people want this.

I think, he and many users are buying it before it gets taken down in a couple of weeks as a token of appreciation. I'm pretty sure they're aware that it's basically a donation.
