It would not surprise me if the illustrations were drawn by unnamed-low-ranking artists from a subcontractor.

yeah that's what i though would be the case. it's unfortunate that game companies do that (particularly but not solely japanese ones, i've noticed). thank you for your efforts though

You did, but it's ok, don't worry. I'm not sure how it works either, but I've been assuming it's the @username@instance text what triggers the notification. That has been the common pattern in the notifications I've got.

how weird, i've typed that before and it didn't ping people. i assumed it had to be [@username@instance](https://instance/u/username)
