Let's see here... $14/year * 9℅ = roughly $1.25.

Unless im missing something big. I'm not thrilled, but I'm also not that concerned as long as trends remain intact. I only have a dozen or so sites and a few just for email.

I didn't share this to complain of Namecheap increasing the price, rather to share the information. If anything the problem lies with ICANN and Verisign raising their price for no good reason. Captive audience and all that.
