Thanks! I've never made a forum bot before so I've been reading a lot of documentation. Lemmy has some good resources. Don't want to mess up my first one 😅

I just like this community a lot and want to help whichever way I can :)

Yea, 100% Roxamir I'd get you on board if you can figure out the bots, etc.

As I mentioned yesterday, right now I've just given out the roles based on engagement needs rather than actual moderation. So decided to give it to the folks driving the daily threads.

Next set of mods will definitely be around the more technical moderation tools like bots, etc.

We're fortunate enough that right now the mods don't actually need to do moderation - partly because we're a small community, partly because we're not assholes.

Eventually when we need a full mod team, we'll probably involve the community in deciding who the mods are but I think we're still a way from there.
