Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Chris Titus tools and Ameliorated.io playbooks are way better.
There is nothing wrong in using and supporting trusted peoples' work, even if they make closed source wrappers. Ameliorated project and Titus' scripts are open source. Titus' EXE GUI wrapper is closed and paywalled, he even livestreams his code and git repo work on Twitch/YouTube.
These people are not money grubber corporations stealing even one bit of data.
The world is not as black and white, and there is value and space for closed source software. The world runs on it. Advocating for FOSS does not mean it is intelligent to become a cultist.
That is false. The world runs on both open and closed source code. Active Directory for example is well known, and is supported by Ubuntu and other corporate distros. MS Office, Photoshop, CorelDraw and numerous video/audio editors are just a few examples.
Your logic is so bad. You are literally claiming that if someone wrote some code in an open source compiler and/or programming language, it must be open source. I do not even want to argue lol, even as a FOSS privacy advocate.
Your zealous evangelist delusional attitude is why we FOSS advocates are taken less seriously, and Windows/Mac users keep using them.
