Most of the old scene thought of cracking DRM in games as a challange within themselves, and did it for the competition. Skidrow's thoughts align with this mindset. You can't blame skidrow for that.

You definitely can blame them for the slurs, and defending DRM really doesn't win over your fanbase.

What fan base? A thousand or so people that read the NFOs? 99% of crack users don't even pay attention to the group that released it.

Most people almost never download NFOs that's true. But if you're a regular then you pay attention to which team does the work at least, so you're not hacked or injected with cryptoshit.
