I currently do work ~~remotely~~ from home in the US. Not long ago I was seriously considering being a digital nomad, though. Seeing this makes me feel like maybe it might not be such a good fit for me 😔
@dirtmayor really depends are you up to make good with locals. Just not everyone has that kind of human skill - and that is fine.
I've been doing okay at getting to know the locals in here Dallas, Texas since I moved here a few years ago, but interacting with people has never been my strong suit. I am improving though. It wasn't too long ago that I would have said knowing your neighbors is unimportant. Nowadays it seems necessary for survival. Never too late I suppose ¯_(ツ)_/¯
