Discussion thread for the latest installment of Pierce Brown's Red Rising series.

What were everyone's thoughts? I had some overall gripes regarding how some plot points from Dark Age were carried over, but overall I enjoyed it, particularly the siege and duel sequences.

I loved the first couple of books but sort of lost interest when he started adding more perspectives. Perhaps I should preserve and read darkage.

He didn't start adding new perspectives until his second set of series, but I totally agree. I thought it was such a refreshing take to only focus on a single character in such an open and expansive world, but after finishing Light Bringer last night, I promise that it's completely worth it! It recaptured the original trilogy's essence in such a masterful way.
