Ngl it's kind of got me nostalgic to remember how shit hexbear used to run back in the day, way before Lemmy actually took off as a thing, like upvotes didn't work, all posts and comments >3 months old were hidden, and in the even earlier days /pol/ and donald.win users used to ddos the site repeatedly and try to dox admins, also we had an ongoing feud with some random irrelevant radical TERF message board that tried to brigade hexbear and miserably failed after some important person in the Australian TERF movement started tweeting about hexbear doing anti-cis bigotry lmao
