Diablo 2 Resurrected is the GOAT among 2D isometric action RPGs.
Factorio is more math and engineering than button mashing. Its a dangerously addictive sandbox.
Planescape: Torment is a traditional RPG rather than an Action title, but worth mentioning as the best 2D isometric RPG I've ever played. Phenomenal writing - a game for philosophers.
Dungeon Drafters is a cute deck building puzzler.
