I find the translucent tab/navigation bar to be distracting and much prefer a solid color. I was wondering if I’m the only one, I also opened a PR for this, hopefully that makes it through :)

It’s just an optional appearance setting btw, so it’s not taking away the translucent version.

Update: it’s been merged and will hopefully come with the next update (under Settings → accessibility → Translucent Insets)

Turn off ‘reduce translucency’ in the system accessibility settings

Yeah I never noticed this because I’ve had “reduce transparency” set for years now.

Thanks for mentioning, I didn’t think of that. I still prefer to have "reduce transparency" off in general, it’s just a bit too much in Mlem and I prefer the look of having it completely turned off. Also with "reduce transparency" it’s definitely better, but still somewhat transparent and more gray than black in dark mode.
