Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.
Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to the Steam Deck in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.

Do you notice a decrease in battery life?
I've had it turned off for awhile now, and I haven't noticed any battery difference. I didn't do benchmarks or anything though.
That's good to know. It probably has only a small effect, maybe only 1-2% over the course of an entire battery cycle.
So I’ve done a small amount of testing this morning and had the same drop in battery over the same amount of time with it on vs with it off. I’d say you’re probably right that it’s only a few percent!
That's awesome and it makes it sense. I didn't imagine it to be very much but I also understand how Valve would want to take advantage of every energy saving feature by default.
Good question! I assume there’s some trade-off but I haven’t properly tested it yet since I was just excited to see it working properly. I can try running some experiments tomorrow.
