I'm fairly new here and I'd like to use it more, but, there are a variety of general categories of communities that I'd like to never see. So instead of blocking them 1 by 1 as they pop up I'd like to have the ability to say "Block all communities that are sports related" for instance.

I realize the alternative is to look only at the ones you subscribe to but then how do you discover other communities that were just created without flipping back to Show Me Everything?

Porn should have a mandatory option to check off so it's universally marked as porn.

So that you can just block out all communities about porn.

I'm so sick of the constant porn. There's more porn on my all feed than not porn.

I blocked like 10-15 today.

Like my lemmy experience feels like it's turned into solely porn dodging.

Dodge-porn... Ha sounds like a game.

Boobs! Ha missed me!

Butts! Almost!

Slightly unround nipples in public! MISSED AGAIN!

How many times do I have to find out a Carpet community has nothing to do with flooring!?

Don't tell me c/hardwood isn't about flooring either.....

Most of the third party apps have the ability to just straight hide all nsfw posts so you don’t ever have to see them.

Hmm I'm on shjustworks. Part of it could be because of viewing by new. I probably login when Germany is having their morning pickle taming.
