This aired in 2016. Martha served time in '04-'05. They probably just didn't cuff her.

She was a non-violent offender. As she never displayed any intent to harm anyone placing her in cuffs is just needlessly making her hurt

It's still difficult to believe she went through the entirety of her incarceration and never once had cuffs placed on her. Like maybe cuffed in front instead of behind, sure, but never once during transport? It's nigh unbelievable.
