In this video I am doing some changes to my own game. These changes are something like adding sword combat, adding particles and visual buffs, repairing inventory and crafting table. This video also contains discussion about my oncoming challenge video where I do a coding challenge. Please give feedback about your experience a s a viewer! I could tell it was an ai voice within the first few seconds. I am not sure if you are just a young person trying to make games and YouTube content or a dedicated troll generating slop haha. There used to be a guy that made the most terrible games on a gamedev forum I used to frequent when I was a teenager, the games were awful but I loved them I really respected the fact that he stuck to his guns no matter the criticism he got. Your games sort of remind me of his, not an insult by the way, the art style in particular is very similar. That being said, take some advice:

  • do what makes you happy regardless of what people say (within reason of course, don’t kill people for joy).
  • don’t post your own content as a form of advertising, most people can see through what you are trying to do and will report it as spam en masse.
  • maybe start a blog and post updates there until you have some worthwhile gameplay for a video, it’s not that your content is bad but it’s just a drop in the ocean in terms of originality. We all start projects we don’t finish but not all of us feel the need to make videos on them and post them.

Maybe the last point is a bit overly harsh, but I think it’s something you need to consider.
