A handbag belonging to the homeland security secretary Kristi Noem containing her passport, department security badge and $3,000 in cash was stolen on Sunday night at a restaurant in Washington D.C.

She's in charge of homeland security, which includes the Secret Service. She has Secret Service members with her everywhere she goes.

According to Wikipedia, DHS absorbed the Secret Service when the DHS was created in 2003
