It's more like an illustration of Reddit turning into a useless bunch of fluff. I don't know anything about golf or that guy, it just happened to be the top fluff when I posted.

I love sports, especially combat sports, and have participated in lots of sports. I played (actually more sat on the bench) sports at a D1 college. But I understand and respect that lots of people DGAF about sports. Because I DGAFF about golf. It is a stupid bougie game, not a sport, and wastes a lot of resources. So I understand that folks don’t like sports in general.
