Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

I kinda have the money. Not really. Well... I'd survive til next pay. But if I wait and it goes up in price then it's gonna be harder to get one.

I would not buy it new, perhaps at most buy it used - like others have said.

Long term, plan on setting aside a specific number every week or paycheck (ie $25 each week). You'll eventually have the funds pain free. As a plus, the envelope money will come in handy if some other emergency comes up, but you can restart the fund building for this goal.
