Never heard of it. Supposedly made by a former dev who got angry at cancel culture for some reason.

If you need the improvements, try it. But I would keep on using the regular project which seems more stable in its governance.

I use Firefox forks because I believe the project is fucked. I don't care about Thunderbird enough to switch to another project.

The thing is that I read about multiple instances of sometimes-severe email loss over the years from various Thunderbird updates, which BB purports to thwart. May I ask how long you've been using TB and what issues you've encountered? Hopefully you've never lost any data.
