There's no reason to believe him now. Do you think he would willingly give up the power that he gained 2 months ago? Of course not... So even if what he's saying is technically true, it's only going to be a piece in his game to amass even more power. Remember, evil m************ like that take as much as they possibly can, for as long as they possibly can, forever.
