Learning to live with ME is so counter to everything we're told from birth about how to live and manage health. I've done incredible damage to myself just by failing to jettison the 'push harder' 'find a way to get better' 'make it work's attitudes from myself fast enough. It really requires a completely different approach to living and so few medical professionals take the time/are trained to understand that.
