It's literally a direct port but for lemmy. Not paying $100 for a lifetime sorry.
Triple A games don't even cost that much.
Its just a sales tactic to make you think the subscription is cheaper than it really is.
@explodes @RaulitoElLobito there is a one-time purchase too. I personally use the free version tho, it does things well
Yeah dude, I enjoyed sync for reddit but this is ridiculous to ask for. Here's hoping boost for lemmy releases soon.
I mean when you compare the subscription price to Netflix or YouTube, it's still a lot. And if you have family members they have to pay their own subscription ALSO? Are you kidding?
There's a cheaper lifetime/one time purchase option to only remove ads, without the other sync ultra features. It costs around $20
To remove ads most apps would charge $5 at the highest, really $20 to remove ads...no thanks.
It’s a hell of a risk to bet $100 that someone won’t make a better website by the time this one gets “popular”.
Exactly, like I've poited out before there are better apps our there already, not to mention the official app has no ads and asks for no money while sync does.
@RaulitoElLobito you can use it for free...
Yeah but with ads, there's a few better options out there that have already been better developed and maintained that are ad free.
@RaulitoElLobito i personally disagree. Nothing else out there comes close to sync in terms of build quality and customization. Voyager is ok
Have you even tried connect for lemmy or thunder for lemmy?
Both feature rich and no ads.
@RaulitoElLobito Yeah I did. Just comes down to personal taste of UX/UI
