At the time he was responsible for the most drone strikes for any president (obviously this record was broken by the next admin). There's also a famous one where they struck a wedding in Yemen. You could argue not closing gitmo would be perpetuating existing war crimes when it was a campaign promise.
There was also the whole over-throw of Libya thing.
The state of this country is really bad when we pine for the days of any modern president honestly. It's been a gradual downhill slide since I was born in the '80s but we've definitely started picking up momentum as we roll down the hill. Rock bottom has got to be somewhere down here, surely.
