People find AI more compassionate and understanding than human mental health experts, a new study shows. Even when participants knew that they were talking to a human or AI, the third-party assessors rated AI responses higher.

It’s also cheaper and more readily available when you really need it. Sometimes you just need to be reminded that your thoughts are askew and how to get back on track. However, if you’re having deeply troubling thoughts, please go talk to a professional.
