Oh lord can we leave the reddit memes on reddit please?
Just like Reddit, your lemmy experience is fully dependent on the communities you subscribe to and engage with. There are specific communities that only allow original content, like [email protected]
I'm genuinely curious, what about this makes it a "reddit meme"? I could've understood "tumblr meme" because this screams neurodivergent.
A "Reddit meme" is anything that someone does not like? 🤪
It's the only conclusion I can come up with, yeah.
A reddit meme is a meme you have seen over and over for the past decade on reddit. Not sure how that was so confusing but originality would be nice instead of just making this place a boring reddit clone.
I hadn't seen this particular variant before, here or on reddit or anywhere (and I'm very online). This is like yelling "repost" for every little thing you personally have seen years ago.
Oh honey, I'm talking about the template itself. Why is this so difficult for you to understand
Oh honey, I suspected as much. That's why I said "this variant", as in "this template using this text". You're being awfully condescending, expecting everybody to just conjure up an entirely new internet culture with brand new templates. That's not how this works. That's not how anything works.
You have literally zero posts. If you want to see some 100% original memes, get to work.
I never seen it
You've never seen this meme template? You sure about that?
I've seen the one with the guy deciding which button to press but not this one
