Pretty much everything inside this modded device comes over from the 2022 iPhone SE 3, the last iPhone with rounded edges and a physical home button. "The only 1020 aspect about it is the outer shell and front display glass,"

So really they did almost nothing, and somehow got an article written about it.

That said, I had this phone, and it kicked serious ass.

A case swap without any loss of functionality is pretty substantial. Sure its lots of work to get right back where you started (a working device), but that doesn't mean they did nothing.

The effort to do it so seamlessly is pretty incredible, in my opinion.
